Sue Ryder Interview

Chorley FM HQ

The local Sue Ryder Charity were our guests on the Mid Morning Show on Monday the 31st July.
Based at Cuerden Manor they told us about the work the charity offers for people with life changing brain injuries and neurological conditions. Kelly and Paul are both based at the centre

The charity exists on funding only so it’s important to raise money for excursions so the residents can enjoy trips to attractions such as Coronation Street and other outdoor activities
One of the ways funds are made is to organise a raffle which needs the help of local people. Donations of items are very welcome and they’re always looking for volunteers and in addition they are currently looking to employ professional staff also. Nurses and support staff with relevant qualifications are asked to contact the centre. Full training will be given to volunteers

If you can donate a raffle prize or are interested in volunteering please call 01772 627374
